  Brass is a natural material, it will oxidize and form a patina or tarnish when it is exposedto air or moisture. It might have visible scratches & spots due to the production process.It will not affect the clarity or impression of the seal.You can use sandpaper to bring its luster back or clean it in an eco-friendly way, such as lemon juice.

  The engrave surface is very small, it might be slightly off center, but it won’t affect the impression.
